On 14 October, the CEIPES staff had the opportunity to meet teachers and students of the State High School Pio La Torre of Palermo, leader of the consortium of the ENTERPRISE project, “ENTrepreneurship Experience and Rising PRofessionals in Sustainable Europe” (2019-1-IT02-KA201-062931), funded under the Erasmus+ programme, KA2 – Strategic Partnership for Innovation and Exchange of Good Practices for School Education.

The aim of the project is to implement collaboration between staff of the involved schools and professionals involved in European start-ups working in the field of sustainability, promoting new teaching strategies and innovative ideas in the fields of sustainability and entrepreneurship.

The pilot experience involved students filling in a self-assessment questionnaire on their skills for the world of work and, in this case, entrepreneurship, followed by an in-depth discussion of innovation and business issues with the help of the school’s teachers.

The pilot will continue on 20 October, when other classes and teachers will have the opportunity to live the same experience.

Soon, the students of the State High School Pio La Torre and some of the accompanying teachers will be able to live a mobility experience in Norway and Portugal, countries in which other institutions belonging to the ENTERPRISE consortium, Thora Storm videregående skole and Escola Profissional de Aveiro, are based.
