AEVA – Associacao Para a Educacao e Valorizacao da Regiao de Aveiro, partner of the project ENTERPRISE, ENTrepreneurship Experience and Rising PRofessional In Sustainable Europe, project number (2019-1-IT02-KA201-062931), funded by Erasmus+ Programme, KA2 – Strategic Partnership for Innovation and Exchange of Good Practices for School Education, invited students from Italy and Norway to their city to continue with the implementation of project activities.
Unfortunately, not the totality of the partners from the consortium could travel to Portugal: in fact, school staff from Thora Storm videregaende Skole (Norway) didn’t have the opportunity to join the activities due to covid-19 restrictions. However, students from I.I.S.S. Pio La Torre (Italy) had the possibility to join their Portuguese correspondings and to improve their skills.
From the 7th to the 13th of January 2022 Italian students had the opportunity to discover the city of Aveiro (Portugal), while learning more about the topics addressed by the modules which have been designed with regard to the project objectives. During this experience, in fact, students from both the involved schools are tested the Module 8 on Financial Literacy for Entrepreneurs, working in groups: this methodology fostered the participants to learn about the prepared contents, but also to practice the soft skills they have aquired by applying their communication and problem-solving skills.
Furthermore, creativity was one of the central topics addressed by the activities: learning about creativity stimulated students to develop their imaginative solutions; also, this helped them finding innovative solutions to problems or demands that already exist.
Portuguese partners also offered students a visit to a sustainable business, in order to inspire them and show them how important sustainability is in entrepreneurship.
The project aims at promoting entrereneurship among students and to provide them – through innovative learning and teaching methods – the essential skills to develop their sustainable business idea.
